Hoʻohieokalā is a freelance photographer and production assistant based out of New York, NY. Currently a junior at Columbia University, she is double-majoring in Film and Media Studies and Drama and Theatre Arts. On campus, she serves as the president of Mālama Hawaiʻi.

Originally from Maui, HI, she strives for authentic Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander representation, using those values to ground her creative endeavors. ​​​
